I was commissioned by Prashant Godbole Films to create still photographs for a project documenting Tata Trusts’ development work in central Maharashtra. While the films were being directed, I focused on building a parallel visual narrative through photography.
We covered a wide range of initiatives—primary education, healthcare, mental health, hygiene, water management, sustainable agriculture, irrigation, vocational training and animal husbandry that supports local livelihoods.
My aim was to tell an honest, human-centered story, capturing not just the programs themselves, but the everyday lives they continue to shape.
